What is PDF file?
Adobe PDF is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system. Each Adobe PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a fixed-layout 2D document that includes the text, fonts, images, and 2D vector graphics which compose the documents. Lately, 3D drawing can be embedded to PDF documents with Acrobat 3D using U3D or PRC and various other data formats.
PDF files are most appropriately used to encode the exact look of a document in a device-independent way. While the PDF format can describe very simple one page documents, it may also be used for many pages, complex documents that use a variety of different fonts, graphics, colors, and images. PDF is now one of the mostly used document format in the world. PDF file is widely used for manuals, Internet document, reports, books, and so on.
